This was something I started back in April, but as it is a different subject to most of my other recent work, it has taken a while for me to be satisfied enough to share it......

Across Southwold Common

Inspired by a photograph I took as the sun was setting across Southwold Common one January afternoon.
I painted from the same image, in watercolours, a few years ago.  I love the natural purples and the reflection of the light on the water in the foreground and wanted to paint it again using acrylics....
